As a Magnet Fabrication Engineer for the HTS magnet team, you will own hardware from early concepts to magnet delivery, performing thermal, structural, and electromagnetic analysis using hand calculations and finite element methods, for the development of ENN's superconducting spherical Tokamak. You will develop design notes, technical specifications, assembly procedures and documentation necessary to manufacture and install the magnet hardware. In your role you will also support procurement in the preparation and execution of manufacturing tasks. What you'll do: ● Act autonomously as the key developer of hardware engineering, ensuring designs are completed, validated, procured, built, and installed correctly and on time. ● Produce new and iterate on existing design concepts, using a deep understanding of electrical physics, structural mechanics, and analysis techniques for both metallics and composites. ● Liaise with partner teams such as R&D, analysis, manufacturing, and procurement to drive completion of program milestones in a timely fashion.

任职要求

Who we’re looking for: ● A minimum of 5 years of hands-on expericnecs in large superconducting magnet engineering in magnet fabrication and working flow optimization, providing feedback to the magnet design. ● Design and analysis experience is required, including at least 2 years providing analysis support to production optimization and improve technical changes. ● Excellent fundamental knowledge of electromechanical systems such as electromagtic force, static structures and heat transfer. Must-have Requirements: ● Master's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, physics, or other relevant fields. ● Experiences in design or implementation of electrical or mechanical components beyond desktop scale. e.g. high current(kA), high field(>1T), high power (MW+), high mass (ton+), high force (MN+). ● Familiarity with all steps in the development process with an emphasis on creativity, simplicity, execution, and collaboraton with other teams and external vendors. ● Experience with ANSYS and COMSOL. ● Be self-motivated and exhibit excellent problem-solving skills.
